About ICCF
Founded by refugees.
Built for the most vulnerable.
Twenty-five years of walking alongside the people society too often forgets.
Our story
How it began.
In May 2001, a group of Sub-Saharan refugees living across London sat down together. They had survived war, displacement, and loss. They had arrived in the UK with very little. And they made a decision.
They would not wait for someone else to solve the problems they understood best. They would build something themselves - for their own children, for the families still arriving, and for the communities they had left behind in Uganda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan and beyond.
That decision became the International Christian Care Foundation. Our constitution was adopted on 31 May 2001, and we were registered as a charity in England and Wales (No. 1086849). We have been operating ever since - quietly, faithfully, and always close to the people we serve.

Our mission
To create a welcoming, accessible space where people of all ages and backgrounds can find the support they need to improve their lives.
Our vision

Our values
Faith, compassion, dignity, partnership, and the long-term commitment that real change requires.
