UK Community Work · London
Social inclusion, a life at a time.
We promote social inclusion for everyone living across London and beyond - opening up learning, employment and a real chance to change their circumstances.

Our aims
Reaching the people too often left behind.
We work with neighbours facing poverty, isolation, discrimination, disability, teenage pregnancy or anti-social behaviour - challenging the inequalities behind them, not just the symptoms.
Target disadvantaged groups
Reach those affected by low income, isolation, discrimination, disability or limited education.
Empower communities
Build local capacity so neighbourhoods can advocate and organise for themselves.
Raise skills & confidence
Practical learning that lifts employability and everyday independence.
Support families
Walk alongside parents, carers and children as they take opportunities for change.
What we pledge
Commitments we hold ourselves to.
Every person who walks through our door can expect the same standard of care - regardless of background, status or circumstance.
- A quality service, accessible to everyone
- Non-judgemental - dignity and respect for every individual
- Listen first, then act in partnership
- Inspire children and young people to think positively
- Counteract stigma, discrimination and underrepresentation
- Support teenage parents constructively
- Promote independence and best-value delivery
- Bring the right agencies together around each person
Our values
The five principles that shape every conversation.
Partnership
Agreements made with - not for - the people we serve, and with families, schools, GPs, social workers and police.
Communication
Clear language at the right level, with interpretation when English isn't a first language.
Respect, dignity & empathy
We're not here to judge. We sit with people and set realistic, person-led goals.
Confidentiality
Information stays private, shared only with consent or where safety requires it.
Self-awareness
Ongoing training and supervision so power dynamics never get in the way of empowerment.
Equal opportunities
Equal access. Active anti-discrimination.
London is proudly multicultural. We open our services to people of every race, culture, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation and ability - and actively challenge the racism, oppression and discrimination they encounter elsewhere.
Our equal-opportunities policy, code of practice and staff training keep that promise honest.
Why it matters
The change this work makes.
Routes out of poverty through work and education
New skills for parents and lone parents
Lower barriers for people with disabilities
Earlier identification of anti-social behaviour at home and in school
Underrepresented groups supported to make their own choices
Stronger partnerships across statutory and voluntary services
Featured project
Door-to-Door Food Drop.
When the COVID-19 lockdowns hit, families across East London suddenly couldn't put food on the table. With support from The National Lottery Community Fund (Project ID 20162905), we delivered food directly to their doors - quietly, respectfully, no questions asked.
